A journey to the Mediterranean Sea was all it took for my dreamy starfish to come to life. This collection is a vibrant exploration of the underwater world, translating its rich textures, colors, and forms into wearable art. This mood board presents a harmonious blend of coral structures, marine life, and underwater flora, which serve as the foundation for my designs. The mood board skillfully juxtaposes the organic forms and textures found in the sea with a sophisticated design aesthetic. The use of bold colors, such as deep blues, rich corals, and vibrant oranges, conveys the dynamic environment of the Mediterranean. This project was developed during my second semester at FIT.

My color story is vibrant and cohesive, effectively conveying the theme while allowing for a versatile range of designs. It reflects a deep understanding of how color can be used to evoke mood, atmosphere, and thematic elements. The color palette is bold and serene, capturing the essence of the Mediterranean's diverse marine ecosystem.

I have completed research on design elements and developed preliminary thumbnails for my collection, organized into distinct "arcs." Each arc represents a specific design technique inspired by different themes. These arcs guide the creative direction and technical approach of my designs, ensuring a cohesive and innovative collection.
