MORKANE

Childhood memories inspire my collection in Iraq Kurdistan and traditional games like "Gusilkane" and "Morkane" - cultural symbols that evoke unity and resilience - Influenced by the improvised clothing I wore growing up, like knockoff brands such as "Abibas" instead of Adidas, my collection is a playful yet thought-provoking commentary on third-world resourcefulness.

My work infuses a political edge into streetwear, turning these childhood experiences into a modern, rebellious statement against global narratives. My work highlights the interplay between survival, identity, and cultural pride, all while questioning the boundaries of fashion, nationality, and authenticity.
